Admission Criteria for Youth

To qualify for services potential clients must meet the following criteria:

Criteria:

Have a Public Mental Health DSM-5 diagnosis that is the cause of serious dysfunction in one or more life domains (e.g., school, home, work)
Currently in therapy with a licensed mental health clinician.
Eligible receive Medical Assistance in the State of Maryland
Meet the diagnostic criteria and functional limitations of a MHA's priority population.
Have an impairment that results in a clear, current threat to the individuals ability to live in his or her customary environment.

Admission Criteria for Adults

To qualify for services adults must meet the following criteria

Criteria

The individual meets DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for a Public Behavioral Health System (PBHS) specialty mental health diagnosis in the Priority Population.
The individual demonstrates impaired role functioning for at least two years. To be considered evidence of impaired role functioning at least three of the following must have been present on a continuing or intermittent basis.
Marked inability to perform activities of daily living.
